to conservenatural water resources. The scheme has a provision of outlay of Rs 20 crore. It is stated
by the spokesperson of the government.

SHIMLA: Forest ponds are being constructed in Himachal Pradesh to check the depletion of groundwater and to harvest rainwater, officials said on Sunday.Under the Parvat Dhara scheme, the government has initiated rejuvenation of water sources and recharging aquifers through the forest department with an outlay of Rs 20 crore.

SHIMLA: In a bid to boost adventure sports activities in the state and working towards
prosperity seems to be the mandate of the state government. The state government has
notified the ‘Himachal Pradesh Water Sports and Allied Activities Rules-2021’ thus paved
the way to hold water sports activities in the state. In December, 2019, draft rules were
published in the Rajpatra inviting objections/suggestions from the general public under Rule
65 of the HP Tourism Department and Registration Act 2002.

HIMACHAL: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on the request of Chief Minister of New Delhi
Arvind Kejriwal has agreed to arrange emergency supplies of oxygen from Himachal
Pradesh to New Delhi, since the National Capital Region was facing acute shortage
of Oxygen due to the Covid-19 crisis.

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Monday that on the request of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, it has been agreed upon to arrange for emergency supplies of oxygen from Himachal to New Delhi.

SHIMLA: Keeping in view the sharp surge in number of Covid cases in the state, the Himachal Pradesh government on Sunday imposed night curfew in the four districts -- Kangra, Una, Solan and Sirmour -- from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. from midnight of April 27 to May 10.
