SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh cabinet on Wednesday reviewed the Covid-19 situation in the state and decided to impose statewide night curfew daily from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., besides closing indoor sports complexes, cinema halls, multiplexes, stadia, swimming pools and gyms.

CHANDIGARH: With the spike in Covid-19 cases, Punjab on Tuesday imposed statewide night curfew daily from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and ordered closure of all educational institutions till January 15.

It was decided that Department of Health would encourage private hospitals in the State to increase vaccination in their institutions. It was felt that MLAs may review along with concerned SDM the welfare/ treatment being provided to Covid patients in home isolation.
