KAITHAL: As per the instructions of the Director General of Prisons, Haryana, the 10th International Yoga Day was celebrated in the jail with the courtesy of AYUSH Department and Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust, Kaithal and under the leadership of Superintendent Jail, Kaithal.
On this occasion, the male prisoners in the jail were made to practice yoga by Mr. Ramcharan Arya, Mr. Badan Singh Arya and Mr. Sandeep and the female prisoners were made to practice yoga in the women's ward by Ms. Sanju and all the prisoners were told that yoga is very important in our lives. Holds an important place. Yoga is considered to be a wonderful science of harmony between body and soul, therefore, while in jail, make your body and mind healthy and strong by devoting your bad times to yoga practice. Apart from this, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Jail Superintendent Mr. Ashok Kumar told the prisoners about doing yoga daily and said that:- “Practice of yoga helps in becoming a better person and also in getting a sharp mind, healthy heart and a relaxed body. Yoga, one of the methods, enables the unity of mind, body and soulIs."
All the officers/employees of the jail and the prisoners in the jail did yoga in a very cordial atmosphere and requested the yoga teacher to conduct yoga regularly in the jail. On this occasion, Surendra Kumar Deputy Superintendent Jail, Naresh Kumar Assistant Superintendent Jail, Baljit Singh Deputy Assistant Superintendent Jail and jail staff were present.
