KAITHAL: Sonu, a resident of Kalayat, was arrested during investigating of a case by HC Devendra Singh of Special Detective Unit, while clamping down on illegal Arm supplier.
Police spokesperson said that on May 18, Karanmbir alias Togad, a resident of Dhundwa, was controlled by the team of ASI Tarsem of Special Detective Unit near village Padla. An illegal country pistol was recovered from his possession. After interrogating the accused Karambir Special Detective Unit in the police station Sadar, it was revealed that this Arm was made available by Sonu of Kalayat .
Presently the accused was lodged in Nahan Himachal Pradesh Jail in another case. . Police after obtaining production warrants from local court brought the accused from Himachal jail. After production of Accused in court here Police remand has been obtained for 3 days for comprehensive questioning of the accused.
