DHARAMSHALA: Now, passengers at Gaggal Airport of Dharamsala in Himachal, will have the opportunity to savor the cuisine of Himachal, thanks to the inauguration of "Outlook" inside the airport. MLA Kewal Singh Pathania inaugurated the outlet, emphasizing that traditional dishes and products of Himachal will be made available, providing a new identity to the state's offerings. The outlet will also showcase products from self-help groups at various levels, promoting and encouraging their work.

In the presence of Sub Divisional Officer Kangra Ishant Jaswal, Darendra Singh from Airport Authority, Block Development Officer Kanwar Singh and other respected people MLA Kewal Singh Pathania highlighted the launch of the "Apna Kangra App" in Kangra district, providing a platform to give products a new identity and support local initiatives.

Gaggal Airport in Dharamshala is the busiest airport in Himachal Pradesh compared to Kullu and Shimla. The government plans to expand the runway length from the existing 1, 372 meters to 3, 010 meters to give the airport an international look. The current shorter runway limits the landing of larger aircraft, and the runway extension aims to accommodate bigger aircraft like Airbus A320, potentially boosting tourism, enhancing connectivity, and reducing travel costs on this route.
