AMRITSAR: Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Mr. Bhupinder Singh Asandh along with the whole inner committee paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib and at this time Mr. Asandh said that the Haryana Committee will build a residential traveler's residence (Saran) in Amritsar so that the Sangat of Haryana do not face any kind of difficulty in visiting the Guru Ghar.
Mr. Bhupinder Singh Asandh, who came on his two-day pilgrimage, was accompanied by Ramnik Singh Maan, General Secretary, Mr. Mohanjit Singh, Joint Secretary, Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, Jagsir Singh, Harpreet Singh Jaggi and Baldev Singh (four members of the executive Committee) with Khalsa. Mr. Bhupinder Singh Asandh said that the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee came into existence only after the struggle and the Sikhs of Haryana had to struggle for almost 20 yearsTalking about the elections, he said that the Haryana government is serious about holding the Haryana committee elections and it is hoped that the elections will be held before March 31, 2024.
He said that soon he will get his separate party registered before contesting the elections so that it can be organized. The election should be fought Elections will be held on 40 seats of the Haryana Committee and 8 or 9 seats will be reserved for which nominations will be made in the first session after the elections.
He said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the Sikhs of Haryana about making votes, yet they appeal to the Sikhs of Haryana to make more votes so that every Sikh can participate in the service of Guru Ghar.
He said that the elections will be conducted in a completely transparent manner.
On the pattern of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, the Haryana Committee will also build a traveler's residence (saran) in Amritsar and for this a committee has been formed.
During his visit to Amritsar, Mr. Asandh also inspected some places.
He said that till the inn is not built, his effort is to rent a hotel with 20-25 rooms and build a temporary inn so that the Sangat of Haryana does not face any problem because the Sikhs of Haryana with the Shiromani Committee. They discriminate after forming a separate committee.
