CHANDIGARH: The elections of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee in Haryana will be held on March 6, 2024. Justice HS Bhalla, Commissioner Gurdwara Elections, has released the schedule for the first general elections of the "Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee" in all 40 wards across the state.
As per the schedule issued by the Commissioner, the Returning Officer will publish the notice inviting nominations on February 9, 2024. Following this, nominations will be filed from February 10 to 16, 2024, (except February 11-Sunday and February 14-gazetted holiday).
The list of nomination papers will be posted on from February 10 to 16 except February 11 and 14. The scrutiny of nomination will be carried out on February 17.
If a candidate's nomination is rejected by the Returning Officer, they can submit an application to the Deputy Commissioner by February 19th, following which the Deputy Commissioner will render a decision by February 20th.
