Workshop for heads of block schools on national achievement survey

GURDASPUR:While the Punjab Education Department has been leading in the survey among the states of India, the teachers are also preparing for the National Achievement Survey focusing on the children.

These words were uttered by the District Education Officer Elementary Madan Lal Sharma who asked all the school heads to make a plan to reach out to every child. Giving information about the workshop, District Education Officer Elementary Madan Lal Sharma said that the students of private schools would also be included in the National Achievement Survey. Therefore a workshop has also been organized to make the teachers of private schools fully aware about the National Achievement Survey.

Deputy CEO Mr. Balbir Singh said that all the education officers and teachers have been trained on the National Achievement Survey and the preparation is being done by the teachers at the school level in a planned manner. Due to this huge sheets of practice questionnaires are being sent by the education department from time to time which are proving to be a boon for the children.

On this occasion BPEO Kahnuwan-1 Lakhwinder Singh informed that following the instructions of Education Department Punjab, in this block level NAS training, government as well as private and aided school heads and teachers have been involved, who can read Punjab Read Punjab Training has been provided by the team.
