KAPURTHALA: kapurthala Feb.21 Wheat Grass Juice which is popularly known to cure cancer has also the properties to cure diabetes and other ailments .
This is claimed by an Auyrvda expert Baba Harjit Singh Pattar who is treating the cancer as well as diabetic patients for the past two years. Baba has formed an NGO Baba Shri Chand Nishkam Sewa Society headed by him is giving free wheat grass juice to all the patients daily from 7am to 8am .
More than 500 patents suffering from cancer, diabetes and other diseases
from near bye areas facing even the in climate weather conditions daily visit his place to take 100ml of free langar of wheat grass juice.
Wheat grass juice contain the nutrients like proteins, vitaminA, VitaminB1, Riboflavin, pantothenic Acid, Niacin, folate VitaminC, VitraminE, iron and calcium according to temple university of texas, orgeon state university and the American journal of surgary baba said.
Baba Claimed that more than 200 cancer patients and hundreds of diabetes patients besides patients suffering from other ailments like thyroid, stomach disorders had been benefitted after taking wheat grass juice for three months remedy.
In recognition of his services to the society , Baba Harjit Singh was honoured with memento , shawal and a certificate by Punjab Higher Education Minister O.P.Soni on a republic day function at Kapurthala.
Baba and his NGO has taken a pledge to treat all the patients of kapurthala from the drugs and make the residents hale and hearty .
One NRI couple Balraj Singh and is wife Mandeep kaur from UK today visited his place and lauded the role of society in treating patients with the help of wheat grass juice . The couple also distributed free wheat grass juice to all the patients and decided to help the NGO in this noble cause.
The society also honoured the NRI couple on this occasion.
