FEROZEPUR: Mr Vineet Kumar IAS (2012) has taken over as Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur. On arrival at Ferozepur, he was given a Guard of Honor by the Punjab Police contingent here on Wednesday.
After assuming office, Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Vineet Kumar said that all possible efforts would be made to extend the benefits of the schemes being run by the Punjab government to the district level residents in collaboration with all the officers and employees and work would be done for the development of Ferozepur. He said that people would not be disturbed in office work.
It may be recalled that earlier he had served in the Personnel Department including Special Secretary, SDM at Talwandi Sabho, Additional Deputy Commissioner at District Ferozepur and Mining and Industry Department at Chandigarh. He said that the work of the people in the office would be done on priority basis.
