AMRITSAR: The Punjab Governor Mr Banwari Lal Purohit said that due to better coordination between the police and security agencies in the state, the recovery of drugs increased by 50 percent.

He said that 21-member defence committees will be formed in all the villages of Punjab, which will work for the eradication of drugs and illegal mining.
