During the meeting, three important resolutions were passed regarding the release of prisoners, according to which a joint committee would be set up to meet the Chief Minister and Governors of various states including the President, Prime Minister, Home Minister and It was agreed to cut. At the same time, Sikh members of the country's parliament, regardless of their party affiliation, were urged to raise their voices in both the houses of parliament for the release of the captives.

It was also asked that Sikh members of Parliament should take with them other members of Parliament who speak for justice and human rights.

During the meeting, the authority to set up the committee for the next outline was handed over to the President of the SGPC, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
He said that the committee to be formed would include members from all Sikh organizations.
Advocate Dhami said that although representatives of the Sikh Panth have been working for the release of various organizations and Panth Dardi Bandi Singhs for a long time, now joint efforts will be made under the auspices of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
He said that Sikhs were always being bullied by the governments and the prisoners who had spent more time in jails than their sentences were being bullied by not releasing them. He clarified that the Sikh prisoners lodged in the jails were not for their own caste war but for the national war. Governments should realize that the decision taken by these Singhs stemmed from attacks on Sikh shrines and on the dignity of the community, so the unconditional release of Bandi Singh should be immediate.

During his address, the President of Shiromani Akali Dal Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that the message of unity of the Panthic community was very important for the entire Sikh community and this movement should continue in the future.

Badal said that political divisions were one sided while these collective efforts for Panthic interests would yield great results. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal would stand by to fight every battle on the instructions of Panth.

On this occasion the President of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar Simranjit Singh Mann appreciated the efforts of the Shiromani Committee and assured cooperation for Panthic works.

He said that this Panthic gathering which was held after a long time was historic in itself which would definitely yield good results.
