AMRITSAR: ShiromanI Akali Dal (SAD) Senior leader and Former chief Parliamentary Secretary Virsa Singh Valtoha today urged Giani Harpreet Singh Jathedar of Akal Takht to declare Gandhi family including Indira Ganghi, Sonia Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and Giani Zail Singh former President as enemies of Sikh community for their role in third holocaust of June 1984 and Sikh Genocide in November 1984 on anniversary of Operation Blue Star on June 6.
Addressing a press conference here today, Valtoha said that Sikh community has faced three holocaust so far. First was Chhotta Ghallughara in which more than 11000 Sikhs were killed by in 1746, second Vadda Ghallughara in 1762 in which Ahmed Shah Abdali had killed 30 to 35 thousand Sikhs.
He said that whether it was Ahmed Shah Abdali, Zakriya Khan, Yahiya khan, lakhpat Rai, Meer Mani, Massa Rangar or any other, every cruel and merciless person who had attacked Sikhs was considered enemy of Sikhs.
He said that in Independent India, country’s ruler Indira Gandhi with a motive to finish Sikhs had attacked Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib will guns and tanks. This is known as third Ghallughar. He said that 20 thousand Sikhs including male, female and childred were martyred with guns shots of Indian army. In this time priceless Religious and Historical treasure and Sikh heritage was destroyed by army.
He said that 37 years have passed since June 1984 but still guilty of third Ghallughara including Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Giani Zail Singh and others have not been pronounced enemies of Sikhs.
He said that Akali Dal and panth had lauched Morchas in country but during Dharmyudh Morcha with a motive to win 1984 Lok Sabha elections, Indira Gandhi and Congress party hatched a conspiracy against Sikhs and projected them as terrorists, killers etc before other communities and played anti Sikh card in for polarization of vote and attacked most pious place of world Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib with tanks and guns.
