PHAGWARA: Union State minister of State Som Parkash laid down the foundation stone of under bridge near Nangal-Khera Railway Crossing Phagwara on Tuesday. The Under Bridge will cost Rs 3.5 Crores and would be completed in next three months.
Adressing the people the minister said that the people of many villages near Nangal, Khera, Bhanoki etc were very disturbed due to the railway crossing near Vill Nangal. Due to which, students and job going people were always gets late. General public also used to face this problem due to the gates being closed for hours. This area has been demanding for a long time that an under bridge should be built near this railway crossing so that the general public can get relief. Considering the important demand of the people, this issue has been resolved and this under bridge has been approved. Avtar Singh Mand National Gen Secy BJP Kisan Morcha and Paramjit Singh Distt Vice President BJP KPT were also present.
