The process of placing gold leaves at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib has started

AMRITSAR: As part of the maintenance service of gold leaves and enamels at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, the central religious place of the Sikh community, gold leaves were re-installed in the inner part of the main court today.

The service was handed over by the Shiromani Committee to Guru Nanak Nishkam Sevak Jatha Birmingham, who have carried out the necessary repairs. Today, after prayers, Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib's chief granthi Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh, President of the Shiromani Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, senior member S. Paramjit Singh Khalsa, Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Chief of Nishkam Sevak Jathe Bhai Sahib Bhai Mahinder Singh and Secretary S. Pratap Singh arrived at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib with gold leaves and started the service of placing the leaves with devotion.

On this occasion, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that works are done from time to time to preserve the golden scrolls and enamels at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib and accordingly the service has been assigned to Guru Nanak Nishkam Sevak Jatha by the Shiromani Committee. He said that the golden leaves have been affected due to moisture, which are being prepared and replanted as before. Similarly, the work of maintaining the enamel is also going on. He said that during the service, the service work has been done meticulously by videography of the enamel and gold leaves. He appreciated the devotional services rendered by Guru Nanak Nishkam Sevak Jathe. Meanwhile, Sevak Jathe chief Bhai Sahib Bhai Mahinder Singh said that it is the mercy of Guru Sahib that he gets the services of Guru Ghar. He also thanked the supporters for the support.

On this occasion Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh, Bhai Inderjit Singh, Baba Satnam Singh Fort Anandgarh Sahib, OSD S. Satbir Singh Dhami, Additional Secretary. Balwinder Singh Kahalwan, Manager S. Satnam Singh Mangasarai, s. Sukhraj Singh, Mr. Baghel Singh, S. Nishan Singh, SDO Jatinderpal Singh, Mr. Sukhjinder Singh, Bhai Suminder Singh, Dr. Jaswant Singh, Bhai Ravinder Singh etc. were present.
