CHANDIGARH:Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) President and Rajya Sabha Member, S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa congratulated the farmers' organizations on the success of the peaceful conclusion of the Bharat Bandh call made by them on Monday.
He also thanked leaders and workers of his party for their support given to the Bandh call.
In a statement issued here today, S. Dhindsa said that with the success of Bharat Bandh, the farmers' organizations had sent a clear message to the Center that they are not going to bow down at any cost and would not back down without repealing the three black laws.
S. Dhindsa said that Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) has been standing shoulder to shoulder with the farmers from the very beginning and would continue to support the farmer's organizations in the same manner in the future as well.
S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa once again urged Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi to resolve the issue of farmers. The Center should give up its stubborn attitude and seriously consider the legitimate demands of the farmers, asserted S. Dhindsa. He said that the Union government should resume dialogue with farmers.
S. Dhindsa urged Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi should resolve the ongoing farmer's issues by personally holding talks with struggling farmers' organizations.
