AMRITSAR: Taking strict notice of the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to create a false picture of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and post it on social media, the Shiromani Committee has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell for action against the accused.
As per the instructions of the President of the Shiromani Committee, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, the complaint filed by Secretary Pratap Singh sought strict action by identifying the accused.
In this regard, Secretary Pratap Singh said that Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is the central place of the Sikh community, from where the entire humanity gets the message of universality.
He said that the wrongly presented pictures of this holy place deeply hurt the Sikh sentiments, which can never be tolerated.
Secretary Pratap Singh said that such acts have happened many times before, in which no action was taken despite the Shiromani Committee complaining to the Cyber Crime Cell.
He said that immediate action is taken against those who question the government and a case is registered and social accounts are also closed, but not taking appropriate action against those who play with the sentiments of the Sangat raises big questions.
The Shiromani Committee Secretary said that this is a very serious and serious matter, for which exemplary action should be taken against the culprits, so that no one dares to do such acts in future.
He also appealed to the Sangat not to share such posts or comment on them, but rather to report such social media accounts and cooperate in getting them closed.
