SGPC extends Rs. 1 lakh monetary help to the families of farmers who lost their kin during agitation

AMRITSAR: The newly appointed SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur in her first Executive meeting here today announced to give Rs. 1 lac financial help to  seven families who lost their kin during the Kissan Sangarsh at Delhi border.

Addressing the press conference here today, Kaur said that SGPC was always committed to extend all kind of possible help to the farmers’ community struggling at Delhi border against the injustice done by the Union Government.

Kaur said SGPC would provide makeshift toilets for females who were protesting with farmers on war footing level in order to facilitate them to answer the call of nature. She said on December 7 , all historic Gurdwaras under SGPC would organize  prayer ceremony for one hour for the well being of farmers .

Welcoming the decision of former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal, former Akali minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa  and some other politicians including  sportsperson to return ‘Honor’ conferred  by Indian Government  in protest to extend support to farmers agitation.

She strongly urged the Union Government to annul the three agri ordinance forthwith to save the farmers community.

She took serious note about the alleged objectionable remarks of Bollywood actress Kangna Ranuat against the females participating in the ongoing struggle with farmers at Delhi border.
