SGPC demands strict action against those who misrepresent the pictures of the Gurus on social media

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has demanded strict action against those who misrepresent the pictures of the Gurus on social media and use bad language.
Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Pratap Singh has written a letter to the Police Commissioner of Amritsar asking him to file an FIR against two Instagram accounts.
The Secretary of the Shiromani Committee has demanded that a case should be filed against such mischievous people who hurt religious sentiments and severe punishment should be given, so that no one would dare to do such an act in the future. He said that these two accounts should be closed immediately and further action should be initiated by filing a complaint against them.
In a letter written to the Commissioner of Police, the Shiromani Committee has complained that two accounts named Sickkism and Gaybind are being run by mischievous elements on the Instagram site, on which pictures of Sikh Gurus are wrongly presented. Along with this, foul language is also being used. Due to this, the religious sentiments of the Sikhs are deeply hurt and complaints have also reached the Shiromani Committee to take action against them. There is a risk of increasing social and communal tension and disrupting peace and tranquility with such deliberate acts by mischievous and mischievous people.
