AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has hit back at the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for calling family of SAD leader Bikram Majithia, the Horse Thieves.
In a bid to make an issue out of statement of Chief Minister, Advocate Dhami said that Chief Minister has indeed called all turbaned Sikhs horse thieves. He has asked the CM to apolozise immediately.
Dhami said that the Chief Minister is disrespecting the symbols of Sikh religion for his political interests which is very unfortunate.
He said that the Chief Minister's statement that any turbaned Sikh who enters Meerut is considered a horse thief is an insult to the Sikhs. Chief Minister had blamed Majithia family for bringing bad name to Sikhs and it is due to actions of Majithia faily, the Sikhs are seen as thieves in Meerut.
