Sehajdharis to support like minded parties: Dr.Ranu
CHANDIGARH: As the elections to the legislative assembly 2022 has been announced and polling is to be held on 14th feb 2022 all the political parties have started announcing their candidates. The Sehajdhari Sikh Party National Supremo Dr.P.S.Ranu today released the first list of 28 candidates of the party for contesting the elections from various constituencies.

Dr.Ranu in a press statement said that his party shall go for support of like minded partners who are really responsible for the development and betterment of Punjab and has kept its stand reluctant to seat sharing or withdrawing in favour of any such likeminded party which seems to be the saviour of Punjab.

Dr.Ranu said since 19 years they were fighting for the cause of their community in courts and their kissan wing also participated in the Farmers aggitation openly at Delhi borders. He appealed the punjabis to beware of jumlebaz nautanki comedians and dramebaz fake leaders who are merely entertainers and have no agenda to save the future of Punjab. The political atmosphere of Punjab has been polluted by these traditional political parties and people are fedup from their fake tall claims and promises.

Dr.Ranu said his party is adament to deliver total free health services, free education and one pensionable Govt job to every family to make them financially secured in all types of calmities. His party shall try to provide job oppurtunities to the youth of punjab so that fertile brains do not leave punjab. His party focus shall be to make Punjab corruption free and drug free and to maintain communal harmony to safeguard the National integrity irrespective of religion and caste based politics.

It is a matter of record that as per the census 2011 sikh population of punjab was 1.75 crore. SGPC and Akalis with connivance of the NDA had thrown out 1.20 crore sikhs labelling them as Sehajdharis by disentitling them to vote in SGPC elections by making amendments in Gurudwara Act, thereby only 55 lakh Sikh voters were enroled as electorate for SGPC elections. The issue is still pending in the Court.

The Sehajdhari Sikh Party had been supporters of Captain Amarinder Singh and the INC since last 19 years but now they are disgruntled. The Sehajdharis left Congress Party due to the infighting.

The Sehajdharis are against the Akalis and have standardised their slogan"Je shiromani commettee vch vote nahi, taa Akaliyan nu koi support nahi". If no voting right in SGPC then no vote to Akalis. They rejected supporting AAP as the party has given tickets to rich people and have ignored their workers like as the traditional parties. BJP has failed to accomodate the Sehajdharis and have created a wedge between the Sikh minority and created a sub minority within a minority on behest of the Badals.
