AMRITSAR: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal's Samyukt Samaj Morcha of attempting to defect AAP leaders.
Addressing the media here on Friday, AAP MLA Meet Hayer claimed that Sanyukt Samaj Morcha has contacted several leaders of Aam Aadmi Party and is luring them to contest elections and bearing all their election expenses. However, it raises question over the funding source of Samyukt Samaj Morcha?
Naming AAP leader Jaspreet Singh, who was present with him at the press conference, Hayer claimed that Samyukta Samaj Morcha had approached him to contest the election and offered to bear all the election expenses.
Hayer said that the BJP is making many other clandestine alliances apart from the direct alliance of Captain and Dhindsa to prevent Aam Aadmi Party from forming government in Punjab. To divide AAP's vote, BJP is funding its aligned leaders and parties and is planning to make them contest elections.
Hayer said that all the political parties are in deep panic from the fact that people of Punjab have now decided to form Aam Aadmi Party in the State due to which all the parties have secretly united to impede AAP.
Traditional parties do not want Aam Aadmi Party to form government in Punjab as they fear their complete wipe out as happened after the formation of the AAP government in Delhi. All the promises that Arvind Kejriwal made to the people of Delhi were fulfilled. The revenue of the Delhi government increased from 30 thousand crores to 70 thousand crores and after witnessing the works done by Kejriwal government, people of Delhi have discarded all the traditional parties. It is due to this reason, all the political parties have united to prevent Aam Aadmi Party from coming to power in Punjab.
After seeing the change in Delhi, people of Punjab too want a revolutionary change and every person of Punjab has made up its mind to form Aam Aadmi Party government in the state. People are fed up with the loot and corruption of the previous governments.
The people of Punjab have decided to form the Aam Aadmi Party government to stop the loot, corruption and mafia spread in the governance. Lok Sabha Incharge Iqbal Singh Bhullar, Prabhbir Brar and Jaspreet Singh were also present on this occasion..
