CHANDIGARH: The Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab Punjab Branch, today received a valuable addition to its disaster relief resources with the donation of three rescue boats by DonateKart, India’s trusted online donation platform. These boats were procured through cloud funding, reflecting the collective strength and compassion of society in times of need.

Donation Details: Three rescue boats — one 8-seater and two 4-seaters — were specially airlifted from Mumbai to Chandigarh to strengthen flood-relief operations in Punjab.
Flagging-Off Ceremony: The Honourable Governor of Punjab and President of the State Red Cross, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, flagged off the boats and commended DonateKart for its timely humanitarian support during recent floods.
Distribution Plan: As part of a structured relief strategy, two boats will be deployed in Gurdaspur and one in Hoshiarpur to aid ongoing rescue and relief operations in flood-affected districts.
