KAPURTHALA: Rana Gurjit Singh MLA from Kapurthala said that Punjab Government would mark next year as the year of development under which roads would be strengthened and renovated in all the districts, street lights, sewerage and drinking water would be provided 100 percent.
He said that the renovation work of all the inner lanes and roads in Kapurthala city was in full swing which would be completed by the end of the year.
He inaugurated the development projects costing Rs. 61.98 lakh in the city today under which roads in Santpura, Old Dana Mandi, Shakti Nagar, Markfed Chowk and other localities would be renovated.
Mr. Rajinder Kaura, Vice Chairman, Marketing Committee, Mr. Manoj Bhasin, Chairman, Mr. Vikas Sharma, Mr. Amarjit Saidowal, Block Congress President, Mr. Adarsh Kumar Sharma, Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Mr. Shashi Behl, Mr. Vijay Kumar Chhabra, Mr. Balakrishnan Kaura, Mr. Pawan Kumar Agarwal, Mr. Ramesh Bhagat, Pawan Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Raman Kumar, Rohit Agarwal, Arihant Agarwal, Bhushan Kumar, Shiv Kaura, Pawan Kaura, Gurpreet Singh Tony, Jaideep Singh, Deepu Sarpanch Bhagatpur, Avtar Singh PUDA, Baljit Singh Kala and Avtar Singh Sodhi were present.
