CHANDIGARH: Punjab & Chandigarh College Teachers Union (PCCTU) supports September 27, 2021 All India Band Program of the Farmer's organisations.

The United Forum of Farmer's organizations have given a call for All India Band on September 27, 2021 to express their resentment against stubborn and undemocratic attitude of Government of India to respond to their legitimate demand of withdrawal of three undemocratic black farm laws.

PCCTU while appreciating the long sustained struggle of the farmers and condemning the pro corporate mindset of
the central government, has decided to support and express solidarity to the call of All India Band on September 27, 2021.

Members of the PCCTU across the state have been requested to mobilize Teachers and the students of the colleges of Punjab and Chandigarh to make the Bharat Band call a grand success in the interest of farmers and the general public. Besides campaigning for success of the Band , the teachers also will highlight the demands of the working class to withdrawal of retrograde labour Laws and rejection of undemocratic, unscientific and
anti people National Education Policy 2020.

PCCTU solidly stands with the farmers agitation and will leave no stone unturned to make Bharat Band Program on September 27, 2021 successful.

The statement was issued by Dr. Vinay Sophat, President, PCCTU and Prof. Sukhdev Singh Randhawa, General Secretary, PCCTU.
