CHANDIGARH: Punjab and Haryana High Court has decided to hear a petition by senior advocate Navkiran Singh on August 27 in which he had requested the High Court to open the sealed envelopes of various inquaries related to Rs.6000 crore drug case.
Navkiran Singh in a social media post has informed, "The Honble bench has called for the drug reports lying in sealed cover from Registrar judicial office. Drug case will be heard on 27/8/21. The Honble court will be requested to make the reports public on that day".
The High Court had ordered to keep the reports of two inquaries into drug cases under seal due to reasons known to judicial officers. It is believed that probe conducted into drug racket has names of certain high ups. The details are not yet known.
