AMRITSAR: After Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Harpreet Singh at Akal Takht today closed door meeting held with Dr. Jagmohan Singh Raju IAS, a senior BJP leader close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and trusted.

On this occasion Jathedar Harpreet Singh and Dr. Raju expressed deep concern over the disappearing labor culture in Punjab and had in-depth discussions on the issues facing Punjab and the Sikh community.

On the occasion, BJP leader Dr. Jagmohan Singh Raju apprised the Prime Minister Modi of his constructive approach to Sikh issues.

He said that the Prime Minister was fond of Sikhs. Apart from efforts to reopen the Kartarpur corridor, release Bandi Singh, punish the perpetrators of Sikh genocide, raise awareness of the great martyrdom of Sahibzada throughout the country through Veer Bal Diwas, centenaries of Guru Sahibs were celebrated all over the country.

On the occasion of Sri GuruTegh Bahadur's 400th birth anniversary, a two-day function is being organized by the Government of India on April 21 at the Red Fort grounds in Delhi to spread the message of Guru Sahibs to all corners of the country.
On this occasion he handed over the demand letter to Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib as a humble Sikh and pointed out that apart from Gurbani kirtan from other religious places including Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar on private TV channels during Ardas after Rahiras Sahib. It is common to see prayers on the screen in markets, shops, hotels, dhabs and TVs in public places etc. and the common people are engaged in their activities out of ignorance of the greatness of prayers.

He said that such disregard of prayers and unfavorable practice of greatness of prayers could not be justified. It is a great pity that the Akal Purakh from whom good deeds have to be sought, in ignorance and in ignorance we also become partners in disrespect.
He said in the letter quoting Gurbani that the Gurus have taught us that, not by Khasam Hukam, but by prayer. Before praying, one needs to create a sense of humility in the mind and dedicate oneself to Akal Purakh. The Lord cannot be driven by force or force, one has to stand before Him and pray. The proper posture of prayer is to stand with both hands clasped and to pray with humility in mind. Prayer is the hook of the concentrated mind. Is a couple. Is requested There is prayer. It is not a ritual or a showpiece. For Ardas, it is important to take a state of mindfulness, concentration and serenity. This is a very subtle and pious practice of descending into the unconditional love and affection of the Lord, focusing on Sri Akal Purakh, the focal point. This is the reason why Sidki Sikhs used to join in Ardas at the fixed time of Ardas wherever they were.
