NEW DELHI: Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu seems to have missed the bus and failed to get any assurance on his appointment from AICC working president Sonia Gandhi.
Sidhu met Sonia Gandhi briefly and came out disappointed. He turned face from media and refused to speak on outcome of his meeting with Sonia Gandhi. He was summoned by Sonia Gandhi for a meeting following reports in the media about his likely apppointment as PPCC president.
The sources said that Capt Amarinder Singh had told the party high cvommand he would not like to continue as Chief Minister if Sidhu is appointed PPCC president.
Harish Rawat AICC general secretary who also met Sonia Gandhu alongwith Sidhu has also refused to speak to media on today's developments.
