Mourning in the village of Gursewak Singh, a resident of Dode Sodhi Indian Army jawan Naik Gursewak Singh

AMRITSAR: Mourning in the village at the house of Gursewak Singh, a resident of Dode Sodhi Indian Army jawan Naik Gursewak Singh of village Dode Sodia (Tarn Taran) was also among the victims of the helicopter crash near Ratnagiri district of Tamil Nadu.

In this regard, the father of Naik Gursewak Singh, Kabal Singh said that he has 6 brothers and 2 sisters Hearing the news of his death, a wave of grief has spread in the village Dode Sodia and the whole area besides the family. Gursewak Singh enlisted in the Indian Army in 2004 and was on 9 para duty in Delhi.

He was married to Jaspreet Kaur in 2011. He has two daughters Simratdeep Kaur (9), Gurleen Kaur (7) and a son Gurfatih Singh (4). Gursewak Singh's mother Gurmeet Kaur passed away in 2010. Naik Gursewak Singh's elder brother Kishan Singh, who joined the army in 2004, has been posted in the Punjab Police. Younger brother Lakhwinder Singh works hard to support the family.
