AMRITSAR:Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara Jathedar Committee of Sri Akal Takhat appointed by Sarbat Khalsa has strongly condemned the shameful incident of descreation at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib as a challenge to the Sikh community.
In a statement here today, The Hawara Committee clarified that it was the national responsibility of the members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Committee from which they could not run away. And the reality of the security arrangements of Takhat Sahib has been exposed to the Khalsa Panth. It is reminded that proper management of Gurdwaras is the primary duty of the Shiromani Committee.
Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara said that The anger of the Panth on the issue of indecency is more against the President, Jathedars, Managers, Granthi Singhs, Shiromani Committee members than the mischievous elements. The nation will now hold them responsible for the indecency.
Baljinder Singh, Advocate Amar Singh Chahal, Bapu Gurcharan Singh, Mahabir Singh Sultanwind, Balbir Singh Hisar and Advocate Dilsher Singh Jandiala appealed to the Sikh Sangat that if any incident of descreation occurs in future, the Shiromani Committee member of the area would be held responsible. And he will be boycotted in the next Gurdwara elections.
The Hawara Committee asked the Sikh Sangat, especially the youth, ex-servicemen and police personnel, in view of the demands of the times, to organize now and set up thikri patrols for the protection of the Gurdwaras.
Using the experience to make a significant contribution in maintaining the sanctity of the shrines and dealing with the culprits with the Khalsa. Jathedar Sukhraj Singh Verka, Baldev Singh Nawan Pind, Jaspal Singh Putlighar, Gurjant Singh Patiala, Jagraj Singh Patti, Baljit Singh Bhawan, Gurmeet Singh Babbar were among those who issued the statement.
