Joginder Mann share condolences with the family of six year old Dalit girl in Tanda

PHAGWARA: Former Punjab Minister and Chairman of Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Mr Joginder Singh Mann today assured  severest of severe action against the perpetrators of the heinous crime of rape and murder of a six year old girl.

The former Minister, along with officers of the civil and Police administration today, met the family of the victim. Sharing his heartfelt condolences with the family, he said that the entire Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was solidly with the family in this hour of crisis. Mr Mann said that the Chief Minister has already asked the Director General of Police to ensure stern action against the perpetrators of this heinous crime.

The Chairman of Punjab Agro Industries said that this incident was a blot on the name of humanity. He said that the Chief Minister was personally monitoring their entire case and has time and again reiterated the firm commitment of his government to ensure justice for the victim family. Mr Mann said that Congress party and the state government was firmly with the family in this hour of grief.

Slamming the opposition parties for politicising the incident, the former Punjab Minister said that they were shedding crocodile tears for sake of reaping political benefits from the unfortunate incident. He assailed the BJP leaders for comparing this incident with Hatrhas and said that in Tanda incident Police force has already nabbed the culprits while in Hathras the Police on instructions of BJP led UP government has eliminated all the proofs. Mr Mann said that BJP was unsuccessfully trying to wash away its sin adding that people would never forgive BJP for its anti-Dalit stance.
