CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Police today fired tear gas shells on protesting farmers here when a group of youth tried to remove barricades laid to stop movement of farmers from Punjab to Delhi side.
Atlest two dozen tear gas shells were fired and panic gripped the area for some time. It is not clearfrom which organisation, these protestors belonged. The farmer leaders are yet to reach here. The hundereds of tractor trollies have reached here and parked 500 meter away form the border.
