AMRITSAR/JALANDHAR: The fourth Faculty Induction Programme inaugurated at UGC-Human Resource Development Centre of the Guru Nanak Dev University (HRDC-GNDU) which will be concluded on 29th March 2021. As many as sixty teachers from several states of the country are participating.
The course was inaugurated by Prof SS Behl, Dean Academic Affairs. In his inaugural address, Prof Behl congratulated team HRDC for smooth conduct of the online programmes. He welcomed the participants to visit GNDU once the courses are in offline mode. Prof Behl suggested that the young teachers need to be apprised of the latest developments and innovations in the field. A knowledge of these concepts helps in professional growth of the teachers.
Earlier the Deputy Director Dr Rajbir Bhatti welcomed the chief guest and all the participants. Director HRDC Prof Adarsh Pal Vig shared his inputs and the work of HRDC with the participants. HRDC-GNDU is working hardunder the able guidance of its Chief Patron Vice Chancellor Prof Jaspal Singh Sandhu, to conduct various training programmes for teachers and research scholars.
A short-term course on Research Methodology was also concluded on the same day. The Valedictory ceremony was presided over by Director of Research, Prof. Renu Bhardwaj. Director and Deputy Director HRDC welcomed the chief guest and other participants. The course coordinator Prof Rishi Raj Sharma presented the course briefing. The chief guest Prof. Renu Bhardwaj congratulated the organizing team and the participants for successfully completing the short-term course and stressed upon the significance of research in practical life and the right approach towards accomplishing the same while also emphasizing upon the Research inputs that are required in the university as the only way to enhance the university ranking and encouraged one and all to keep putting sincere efforts towards Research. The participants shared their feedback and the session concluded with vote of thanks.
