AMRITSAR: Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Tarn Taran is the second Gurdwara managed by the Shiromani Gurdwara parbandhak Committee, where a filter system will be installed inside the holy Sarovar.
In this regard, a decision has been taken yesterday in the meeting of the executive committee headed by advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
The Shiromani Committee has previously installed such a system in the sacred reservoir at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib here.
The service of the filter system to be installed in the reservoir at Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Tarn Taran by the Shiromani Committee, the patron of Dewan Todar Mall Foundation, Sikh American. Nirmal Singh Chandi has been given to Lakhwinder Singh Kahneke.

The filter system to be installed here will be of the most advanced type, in which foreign technology will be used.
He said that Diwan Todar Mall Foundation has been conducting services in many Guru Ghars before. They are playing a conscious role towards environmental protection. In support of the Shiromani Committee, the foundation has installed solar energy plants at Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Tarn Taran, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurdwara Jyoti Sarup Sahib.
