KAPURTHALA:Deputy Commissioner kapurthala Deepti Uppal today conducts surprise checking of government offices at the district administrative complex where 26 employees were found late.
Deputy commissioner said that the Punjab government has already issued orders to all officials and employees to ensure their attendance in offices on time to provide the concerned citizen centric services to the people .
She said that during the checking at 9.10 AM at District Food and Supply Controller, District Development and Panchayat Department and Seva Kendra , 26 employees were found late from prescribed duty time at 9 AM.
She said that 21 employees were from district Food and Supply Controller, 2 in the office of District Development and Panchayat Officer and 3 in Seva Kendra.
She has directed the District Heads of these officers to issue show cause notices to the concerned employees and file reply within 2 days along with their comments.
She said that all the SDMs of the district have also been directed to ensure timely attendance of the officers / employees in the government offices in their respective constituencies so that the services could be provided to the people in timely manner
