Congress will return to power with a stronger mandate: Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary

PHILLAUR: Addressing multiple election meetings in
view of the upcoming legislative assembly polls, Indian National
Congress candidate from Phillaur Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary said Friday
that the people of Punjab had made up their minds and the Congress
party will return to power with a stronger mandate.
The governing party had launched several initiatives for the welfare
of the people, and they were happy with them, he said while addressing
meetings in Katpalon, Kadiana and Khand Mohalla Phillaur.
Vikramjit Chaudhary stated that the Congress was the party of the
poor, marginalised and depressed sections of the society.
“We have always worked for inclusive development and have tried to
ensure that the benefits of economic growth reach the last person
standing in the queue, ” he said.
Vikramjit Chaudhary vowed to eradicate homelessness from Phillaur and
stated that in the next Congress government, the people would get
pucca houses.
The attendees showed support for the Congress candidate by raising
their hands and promised to vote for him.
Block Samiti Phillaur Chairman Davinder Singh Lasara, senior Congress
leader Satpal Cheema, Jeeta Rupowal, Katpalon Sarpanch Surinder,
Hansraj, Karnail Singh, Surinder Pal and Sukhdev Singh were among
those present on these occasions.
