AMRITSAR: On the occasion of the 487th birth anniversary of the fourth Patshah Guru Ram Das Ji, the President of the Shiromani Committee Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulated the Sangat of the world and encouraged them to follow the teachings of Guru Sahib Ji.
She said that the life of Guru Ram Das Ji was a guide to humanity in all respects and his contribution to Sikhism was incomparable.
The city of Sri Amritsar, founded by Guru Sahib, is today the center of attraction for the whole world, as the spiritual center of humanity, Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, is adorned here. Inspired by the life and teachings of the great Guru Sahib, Bibi Jagir Kaur called for inculcating in her a sense of humility, service and meditation and for the firm adherence to Sikh principles.
