PUNJAB NEWS EXPRESS | October 22, 2020 04:25 PM

CHANDIGARH:Mr. Rajinder Singh Badheri, President, National Delegate Chandigarh,
All India Jatt Maha Sabha and Director, Punjab Mandi Board called on
Mr. Harish Rawat, Congress Incharge, Punjab and Chandigarh at Punjab
Bhawan, Chandigarh today. Mr. Badheri advised Mr. Rawat that
Municipal Corporation Chandigarh elections were to be held in
December 2021 and Punjab Assembly elections were to be held in
March 2022 and now the atmosphere was in favor of Congress due to
the ever changing stand of Badal, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party.
Mr. Badheri also said that the present Chief Minister of Punjab Capt.
Amarinder Singh was doing well, which was auspicious for the
formation of Congress government in 2022 and Capt. Amarinder Singh
could become the Chief Minister again. But at the same time, the
Congress party is not doing very well. He said that people of Punjab
want Captain's government to come but how could Jatt Sikh be made

the President of PPCC to breathe new life into Congress so that Sikh
vote bank, who is angry with Badal Dal, could be drawn towards
Congress.
Mr. Badheri said that Chandigarh and the cities of Punjab have a large
population of Uttrakhand people and the benefit of Harish Rawat being
incharge could also go to the Congress. Mr. Badheri said that Mr. Rawat
was happy to get suggestions for a better future for the Congress.
