AMRITSAR: Joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab seems to have gone crazy and a large number of leaders and workers of various political parties are proud to be members of the BJP. The party is changing for the sake of tickets. Apart from many veterans, the disease has now spread to the second tier leaders and the local district Congress rural president Shri Bhagwantpal Singh Sachar today also announced his 25 years of being a Congressman.
According to the information received, Bhagwantpal Singh Sachar had applied as Congress candidate from Majitha Assembly constituency but the Congress High Command handed over the ticket to the classic Congressman Jagwinderpal Singh Jagga. He grabbed the skirt of BJP and now he will try his luck with lotus flower.
Sachar alleged that his ticket was fixed and he had been asked by the Delhi High Command to prepare for it but no one but the PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu had stopped him. He has been associated with the people of the constituency for a long time and the people are in direct contact with him. He said that Congress had again given tickets to the family which had lost three times from this constituency.
Vidhan Sabha constituency Majitha is considered to be a very sensitive constituency and Bikram Singh Majithia, known as Majha General of Akali Dal Badal is the candidate from this constituency and this time there will be a multi-cornered contest in this constituency. It is said that it is very difficult to defeat Bikram Singh Majithia from this constituency. Bhagwantpal Singh Sachar may have joined the BJP to contest the elections but the decision of victory or defeat is in the hands of the wise voters of Majitha.
