All Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha members of Punjab should resign to make Kisan Sangharsh a success: Ranjit Singh Brahmpura

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Akali Dal Taksali President Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura strongly condemned the intransigence of the Government of India  He appealed to Members Lok sabha and Rajya Sabha Members to announce their resignations to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha for their sincere support to the Kisan Sangharsh to oppose the black law imposed on them by the Central Government.  

He said that if Akali Congress and AAP Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members from Punjab resign, it would be a politically stern response to the Narendra Modi government. If the concerned Parliament Members had acted with full unity, the farmer would not have had to spend a cold night with the children and the elderly today.  

Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad General Secretary SAD-Taksali said that Punjab was leading the country wide peasant movement at present but the political parties affiliated to Punjab were still vying with each other for political gain.  The classic Akali leader Mr. Karnail Singh Peermohammad said that the decisive decision taken by the farmers to continue the struggle in a peaceful manner has created a new consciousness among the people involved in the struggle and the supporters of the struggle.  

Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, a senior leader of SAD-Taksali and former MLA of Khadur Sahib constituency, appealed to the Kejriwal government in Delhi to fight against the militants on the border or against anti-social elements in Delhi and the families of the soldiers and police personnel.  The government of Delhi would provide Rs. 1 crore each to the farmers who were martyred during the farmers' agitation in Delhi.  The Capt. Amarinder Singh Government of Punjab should take the initiative.  Karnail Singh Peermohammad suggested to the farmers to continue the campaign of publishing in detail the damage done to the farming community by the black law on social media newspapers and TV channels in response to the advertisements being made by the Central Government in the newspapers.  

Ravinder Singh Brahmpura appealed to the 117 MLAs of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha to go on a hunger strike in front of the house of the Prime Minister of India till the black law is withdrawn.  He said that now it was time for the halqa legislator to take decisive steps with political foresight in support of the peasant movement.
