AMRITSAR: Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Amritsar Central Assembly constituency Dr. Ajay Gupta's wife Renu Gupta has passed away.
Renu Gupta breathed her last at around 10:30 pm on Tuesday night after a long illness . According to reports, Gupta was suffering from liver cancer. Her condition had been critical for several days and she was kept on a ventilator in the ICU of a private hospital in Green Avenue here . Despite all the efforts of the doctors , she could not be saved. Renu Gupta leaves behind a complete family: two sons and a daughter.
According to family information , one of their sons and one daughter are married , while the other , Dr. Saransh Gupta , is still unmarried. As soon as the news of Renu Gupta's demise spread, a wave of grief swept through the family and supporters of MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta. Representatives of a large number of political, social and religious organizations expressed their deep condolences. There was an atmosphere of mourning in the entire city , and people were praying for the peace of the departed soul.
MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta lit the pyre for the late Renu Gupta. Dr. Ajay Gupta was accompanied by his son Dr. Sarthak Gupta and son Dr. Saransh Gupta. Today, a large number of representatives of political, social and religious organizations expressed their deep grief with MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta and his family. An atmosphere of mourning prevailed in Durgiana Shivpuri today , as people offered prayers and tributes to the departed soul.
