GURDASPUR: The results of Punjab Assembly Election-2022 have been announced today. Disclosing this here today District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur Mr. Mohammad Ishfaq said that Aam Aadmi Party candidate from Batala Assembly constituency Mr. Aman Sher Singh (Sherry Kalsi) has won by a margin of 28472 votes. He got a total of 55, 570 votes. He said that Congress candidate Ashwani Sekhri was in second position with 27098 votes. Fatehjang Singh Bajwa got 13879 votes, Punjab Kisan Dal candidate S. Sukhchain Singh got 523 votes, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar candidate S. Gurbachan Singh got 3653 votes, National Justice Party candidate Manjit Singh got 156 votes, Lok Insaf Party candidate Vijay Kumar Trehan got 286 votes, Independent candidate Ashwani Kumar got 109 votes, Independent candidate Sanjeev Kumar got 178 votes. . Giving information about the election results of Hargobindpur Assembly constituency, the District Electoral Officer said that the Aam Aadmi Party candidate from this constituency Mr. Amarpal Singh has won with a lead of 16963 votes. He got a total of 53205 votes. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal candidate S. Rajanbir Singh came second with 36242 votes. He further said that Congress candidate Mandeep Singh got 24563 votes, BJP candidate S. Baljinder Singh got 1318 votes, Bahujan Samaj Party (Ambedkar) candidate S. Jasbir Singh Chahal got 1731 votes, People's Party of India (Democratic) 's S. Mukhtiar Singh gets 425 votes, Sanjhi Virasat Party candidate S. 353 votes to Resham Singh, Independent candidate S. Hansa Singh gets 478 votes, Independent candidate Dr. Kamaljit Singh got 4757 votes and Nota got 1401 votes.
The District Electoral Officer further said that the Congress candidate from Fatehgarh Churian Assembly constituency S. Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa has won by a margin of 5545 votes. He received a total of 46, 311 votes. With 40766 votes from this constituency Shiromani Akali Dal S. Lakhbir Singh Lodhi Nangal is in second place.

Congress candidate from Dera Baba Nanak Assembly constituency Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has won with a lead of 466 votes and he has got a total of 52555 votes. District Electoral Officer Mr. Mohammad Ishfaq further said that the party candidate from Dinanagar Assembly constituency Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary has won by a margin of 1131 votes and she has got a total of 51133 votes. He said that Aam Aadmi Party candidate Shamsher Singh was second with 50002 votes from this constituency. Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Kamaljit Chawla got 15534 votes, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Renu Kashyap got 20560 votes, Independent candidate Kulwant Singh got 1548 votes and NOTA got 931 votes.
Congress candidate from Vidhan Sabha constituency Gurdaspur Brindarmeet Singh Pahra has won by a margin of 7335 votes and he has got a total of 43743 votes. Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Gurbachan Singh Babehali came second with 36408 votes. Aam Aadmi Party candidate from the same constituency Mr. Raman Behl got 29500 votes.
