A light and sound show based on Sikh history started at the Summer Palace

AMRITSAR: Under the Rangla Punjab Mela, where various programs are ongoing to promote the civilization and culture of Punjab in Amritsar with the help of the Department of Tourism and Culture, the Punjab Government has organized light and sound programme at Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Summer Palace which is located at Company Bagh here today.

A light and sound which will be the center of attraction for the tourists.Additional director of the department, Mr. Rakesh Popli, said that this show will be a permanent show, which will run every evening in this palace.

He said that an attempt has been made to present the basic information of Sikh history in this 20-minute show.

He said that through this interesting light and sound show prepared at a cost of 2.76 crore rupees, the bravery, courage and rich heritage of the warriors of Punjab has been well presented. He said that the audience who watches this presentation feels immersed in this rich heritage and becomes a contemporary of the times by seeing the bravery and spirit of the warriors through the latest digital technology.

He said that this show will be run in the evening according to the demand of the people and if needed, more than one show will be run daily.

He said that the purpose of this digital show is to provide basic information about Sikh history to millions of tourists coming to Amritsar city and to create an attraction for tourists in the city so that people come and spend more than one day in Amritsar and its surroundings. Going out for a walk at places.
