AMRITSAR: Under the Punjab Government's Door to Door Employment Mission, the 7th State Level Mega Employment Fairs was organized in September 2021. As per the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar Mr. Gurpreet Singh, District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar organized 5 mega employment fairs in Amritsar district.
These mega employment fairs were formally inaugurated by Mr. Prince Khullar, Chairman, Youth Development Board, Amritsar.
He said that 17133 candidates participated in these mega employment fairs organized under the door-to-door employment mission of Punjab government out of which 11524 candidates were selected through interviews by various companies.
Disclosing this here today Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mr. Ranbir Singh Mudhal said that all these fairs were organized keeping in view the instructions of Kovid-19. . On this occasion Mr. Ramesh Chandra Khullar, Deputy Director, District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar informed that the next Mega Employment Fair would be held on 21-09-2021 at District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar, District Administrative Complex and appealed to the youth that The youth should get maximum benefit from the door to door employment scheme of the Punjab Government by participating in employment fairs. Mr. Vikram Jeet, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, District Employment Bureau, Mr. Satinder Singh, Deputy CEO, Mr. Gaurav Kumar, Career Counselor, Mr. Jasveer Singh, Guidance Counselor and Mr. Deepak Kumar were present on the occasion.
