FEROZEPUR: No stone will be left unturned for the development of Ferozepur city and cantonment and there is no dearth of funds for development works.
The government is constantly releasing money. This revelation was made by MLA Ferozepur Urban Mr Parminder Singh Pinki released Rs. 15 lakh for renovation and beautification of Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan at Zira Road Ferozepur city and Rs. 10 lakh for beautification of Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk Ferozepur.
Mr. Parminder Singh Pinki MLA said that with this money Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan and Chowk would be fully developed and beautified.
"Martyrs are the capital of our country. It is because of their martyrdom that we are enjoying the warmth of freedom. I am proud to have the opportunity to do something for Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan and Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk, " he said.
He said that with this money now Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan would be renovated and all the unfinished works in the building would be completed with this money and Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk would be beautified with this amount which made it a wonderful sight to see.
He said that his dream was to make the city of Ferozepur a special place in the list of pro-development cities under which he was making continuous efforts for the development of his constituency. Apart from sports infrastructure, construction of historical gates etc. is also being expedited.
He said that Punjab government led by Capt. Amarinder Singh had no shortage of funds for development works. He said that apart from this many more projects were being brought in Ferozepur for the convenience of the residents of the constituency.
He said that besides widening the roads in the cantonment and many areas of the city, parks were being constructed, open gyms were being set up and streets and drains were being repaired and beautified.
A grand blueprint has been prepared for beautification of Ferozepur city and cantonment.
