DHARAMSALA: For the first time in history HPCA reached finals of BCCI Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 Beating Punjab by 13 runs in semi-finals at Eden Garden Kolkata today.
Avnish Parmar, Hony. Secretary, HPCA said , ”It is a moment of pride for the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association that the undefeated team of this tournament , HPCA Men Senior Team has qualified for the final match of BCCI Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 which shall be played on 05 th November 2022 at 04:30 PM at Kolkata.”
He further informed that HPCA team won its all-league game against Bihar, Saurashtra, Baroda, Nagaland to reach quarter-finals and defeated host Bengal by 4 wickets to enter semi-finals.
Parmar said that On this historic occasion where HPCA qualified for the first time in Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy finals, is a moment of pride for all of
us and we are really proud of our players and support staff who year after year are bringing laurels to the state.”
The Final shall be played on 05 th November 2022 against the winner of the Mumbai vs Saurashtra match.
