AMRITSAR: Following the demise of the late Gurdeep Singh Bhatia, a prominent social activist and respected Sikh personality, his son Harpal Singh Bhatia has been appointed as an Associate Member of Takht Sri Patna Sahib Board and Convener of the State of Madhya Pradesh.
Releasing his appointment letter, Mr. Harpal Singh Bhatia said that he was grateful to Jathedar Avtar Singh Hitt, President of the Managing Committee and all the members who had honored him by appointing him as Associate Member of the Managing Committee and Convener of the State of Madhya Pradesh.
He assured the President and all the members that they would fulfill the responsibility entrusted to them by the managing committee.
He said that his father late Gurdeep Singh Bhatia has worked for the upliftment of the Sikh community following the teachings of Guru Sahibs and he too will always work for the upliftment of the nation following the footsteps of his father.
Earlier Mr. Harpal Singh Bhatia is the President of Guru Singh Sabha Indore and a member of Gurdwara Board, Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib Nanded and has been working tirelessly for the propagation of religion in the state for a long time.
