FEROZEPUR: The government has launched an online web portal PGRS (Public Grievance Redressal System) to address the grievances of the people belonging to government departments in a timely manner.
Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar said that PGRS web portal has been developed by the government for resolving the grievances of the people and this portal has been linked with various departments.
He said that people can now lodge their grievances related to government departments on the website connect.punjab.gov.in. He said that people can register their grievances related to any government department by registering on this website (including name and mobile number).
He said that after the filing of the complaint, the complainant would be able to check his status online and at every stage of the process he would also be informed through SMS.
He said that the grievance would be settled in a timely manner through this portal.
He said that to lodge a complaint, people can contact the online web portal, mobile app or helpline number 1100 from the comfort of their home.
Apart from this this facility can also be availed at the service center of the district. He also appealed to the people to avail maximum benefits of PJRS portal.
