AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur has congratulated the Sikh world on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak and urged them to follow the teachings of Guru Sahib.
She said that the Bani of Guru Nanak Dev Ji shows the way for humanity to walk on the path of truth.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji also praised women, which was a revolutionary decision in the religious history of the world.
She congratulated the sangat on the occasion of Guru Sahib's enlightenment and urged them to follow the teachings of Guru Sahib and to light lamps in their respective homes.
