PATIALA: The outpatient departments (OPDs) of the Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital have been shifted to the Gian Sagar College of Nursing.
Disclosing this, a spokesman of the Gian Sagar Hospital said that the hospital was converted into Covid Care Centre by the Punjab government after Covid-19 pandemic broke out in Punjab.
He said the patients were scared of contracting Corona infection and were therefore apprehensive of visiting the OPDs.
The decision to shift the OPDs was taken with a view to allaying fears in the minds of the patients about contracting Coronavirus. The OPDs would start functioning from the College of Nursing from May 18.
All specialties and super specialties expert doctors would be available for consultation to the patients. The hospital is equipped with the latest medical equipment and has well qualified faculty on its rolls.
